Sustainable Practice

Historically the global textile and garment industry has received bad press for its poor reputation relating to pollution and environmental impact. However, as technology has improved driven by changes in demand the industry is taking more responsibility for best practice and developing strategies to ensure supply chains are sustainable both environmentally and ethically.

CT Team Fabrics and our suppliers take our responsibilities seriously in this regard. The criteria we set to all our suppliers ensures we are able to offer our fabrics with confidence and in the knowledge, they meet suitable benchmarks for environmental and ethical practices.

All our suppliers adhere to OEKO-TEX (Find out more) – OEKO-TEX offers us a yardstick by which we gauge our suppliers current existing standards, as well as advising on ongoing improvements in relation to the following key principles.

We make it our business to ensure our supply chains are committed to ongoing improvements in line with the OEKO-TEX supply chain strategy, seeking to improve and keep up to date with environmental science as it becomes available.
